Raw Tahini Fudge
Raw Tahini Fudge
Makes about 12 to 16 pieces of pure heaven
Equipment: small to medium size bowl; whisk or spoon; parchment paper and pan (see recipe)
Ingredients:
· 1 cup tahini (raw is preferred)
· 1/3 cup coconut oil
· 1/4 cup cacao powder (sifted, or lumps broken down with a fork or spoon)
· 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (or natural liquid sweetener of choice)
· 1/2 teaspoon fine Himalayan or sea salt
· 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Place all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until very, very smooth. Pour into a parchment lined 8" x 8" pan or 3 - parchment lined springform pans. Freeze or refrigerate. This fudge will soften VERY quickly at room temperatures. Keeps in fridge about a week or month in the freezer.
